Unobtrusively monitor usage information for some of Australia’s most popular internet and mobile phone service providers. Get Usage on the App Store.

To get notified when you’re running low on credit or bandwidth, install Growl.

Easy

To add an account, all you have to do is enter your username and password. You don’t have to enter any of your plan details, and even if you change your plan, Usage will use the correct information.

A graph showing your usage is displayed in your menu bar, and you can click the graph to access detailed usage information.

Informative

For mobiles on plans, Usage shows you how much you’ve spent on calls, data, SMS and MMS.
For prepaid mobiles, you can see the amount of credit you have left.
For internet connections, see how much data you’ve used.

Usage also gives you estimates of how much of your quota you should use per day, your total usage, and how long you’ve got left if it thinks you’ll run out early.

If you have Growl installed, Growl notifications are also supported too. You can be notified when you’ve only got 20% of your quota remaining, for example, or when a prepaid account has below a certain amount of credit left.

Personal

Graphs are customisable – you can set their colour, whether they’re a pie graph or a bar graph, and display information about the account as text next to the graph. You can set what information is displayed in the graph too. For prepaid accounts, the graph is replaced with the amount of remaining quota you have, in dollars, megabytes, or minutes.

All-in-one

Usage can view information for both internet connections and mobile phone accounts.
If you have more than one phone number on a single account, it’ll ask you which one you want to use. If you want to see information for multiple numbers, just add the account again and choose another number when you’re asked. And you can add any number of accounts from any of the supported service providers too.

Secure

All information recorded in Usage is 100% secure. All passwords are stored securely in the Keychain, an encrypted database built-in to Mac OS X, and your username and password are only ever transmitted over the internet using SSL, which ensures that only the intended destination server can read the information sent.
